FRP stands for Factory Reset Protection, which is a security feature that prevents unauthorized access to your device after a factory reset. To remove FRP on your iTel A16 Plus, you need to follow these steps1:
- Install Spreadtrum Drivers.
- Install the SPD Download Tool.
- Open the Research download tool > bin folder.
- Launch ResearchDownload.exe.
- Click on the Load Packet icon (top left corner).
- In the window that pops up, navigate to the location of the iTel A16 Plus Frp File, select it then click Open.
- To connect your phone to the PC, you need to connect your phone in boot mode. To do so, power off your phone, hold both the volume up and down buttons simultaneously. Connect your phone to the PC.
- Unlock tool will detect your phone and erase FRP.
